“Far from the Madding Crowd” is a novel ( or story or anything else), right ? I am not being able to understand the two lines you have written. Are they the lines of the book ? BTW how is the book ? What is it all about ?

Yes Sadhanaji
Far from the Madding Crowd is a novel, by Thomas Hardy.
I just finished reading it.History says it all, I need not reiterate, its simply Great.Very intelligent and lovely. And the given line,I just jotted down down, not from the novel:D
Thanks for the comment.
